75 was the very peak year of GM land yachts like this. This is the version of the 68 LeSabre which was my first car and I drove it to high school in the 80s. Everyone made fun of its faded/cracking green lacquer paint job, so my dad and I fixed the dings and dents, prepped the paint and sprayed it in cheap NAPA Red enamel for me to get me by. That along with its perfect black vinyl top made it a striking car when we were done, and it got a lot more respect.

I had a neighbor whose wife owned one of these four holers. (LeSabres were three holers and the Electra were known as four holers. See the trim details on the front side 1/4 's ) Dads drove Cadillacs and moms drove Buicks in my neighborhood.

This was our family car. No need for an SUV, the whole family fit in that thing! We have a blue limited with white top and white leather seats. Parking spaces must have gotten smaller since then because that car was huge!

It's nice, but ALL the taillights don't work, the Reverse lights also. Sounds like an exhaust leak, & what hell is that yellow light doing on the front fender. Heard the drum brake when stopping. A bit of work can make this the awesome car that it was. Nevertheless, still nice.
